This was a revolutionary first step in our goal to redefine transparency between credit card companies and customers. We started by writing a series of blogs to explain each part of the financial statement and shared them in the community site. The next step was presenting a simplified version of the Barclaycard Ring financials to monitor how the community is performing. Every month, we’re showing 7 different revenue and cost items that drive the profitability of Barclaycard Ring. Here you will see how much we’ve made, how much we are giving back to the community and the nuts and bolts in between. We’ve worked hard to make this something everyone can understand.
Barclaycard Ring wants to earn its cardmembers’ trust and we hope this is the first step in a long journey to earn and keep that trust.
